Welcome to week 3, I hope everyone is ready for another week of fun learning activities filled with positive attitudes to help us reach our goals! Thank you to everyone who attended an interview last week; it is great to have the time to celebrate successes, discuss your child's learning goals and work together to ensure we are supporting your child in the best way that we can.
This week is Mary MacKillop Week! We will be doing a range of activities based around Mary MacKillop and also have a celebratory day on Friday as a whole school. This consists of Mass at 9am and then a variety of fun activities for the rest of the day. Please encourage this at home by asking your child questions about Mary MacKillop and the learning we have done each day.
This week is also the LAST week of practices for Arts in Motion. We wish them the best of luck for their final practices and know they will have an incredible performance in a week's time. Thank you to our families for supporting this and to our wonderful Shanelle for organising this for our school.
On the 24th of August Room 12 will be having a trip to the library for the Trubridge and Technology programme from 12.30-2.30. We unfortunately do not have any transport for this. I thought it would be nice for us all to walk down to the library a little earlier (11.30) and have lunch there first. However, we will need some transport back as there may not be enough time for us to walk back to school before bus students need to leave. If you are available to meet us there and drive the bus students back, please contact me. We will also need parent helpers to walk to and from the library with us. Thank you!
