Hi Parents, Caregivers and Students,
Welcome to 2018! I hope you have all had a great holiday
and are looking forward to starting a new school year.
School begins next Wednesday- yay! The classroom will be
opened at 8.30am each day, with our day starting promptly at
8.45 with prayers.
Please ensure that your child has all of their stationery and
that everything is named. OfficeMax is our stationery supplier of
choice. Here is the list on the OfficeMax site.
Every student will have their own desk to
neatly keep all of their things in this year.
With the warm weather this term I encourage every student to
bring a named water bottle, and not to forget their school hat every day.
We will be swimming every day in ODD weeks this term, starting
on the first day of school. Students are expected to swim every day, or
provide a note explaining why they are not able to swim.
This term the school’s
learning will be based around the concept of Belonging, so we will be doing
lots of fun activities around this concept.
The value we will be
focusing on is Respect: Respect for Jesus, Respect for others, and Respect for
yourself (JOY)
If you would like to contact me, please email me:

I check these every morning. It would be great if all parents
send me a brief email so that I can add your details to my contact list. Thanks
in advance.
Homework this year will focus on reading every night,
spelling and learning times tables.
Completed holiday reading logs are due back in the first week
of school.
I look forward to a fun year of learning and discovery in
Room 12.
God bless.
Eliana
