This term we have a new incentive that is all based on earning money and deciding whether to save or spend! We earn money by following our new Class Treaty, our school-wide Golden Rules and through showing our focus values of Courage and Excellence in our daily actions. We can then use it to buy different rewards such as choices, free time or treasure box items.
We realised we needed somewhere safe to keep our money...so today we had a challenge! To create our own piggy bank by ADAPTING a recycled item. Our designs had 4 requirements:
* to fit in our desks
* have a theme
* be based on 1 recycled item.
* be able to hold and protect our money.
We had lots of fun thinking creatively, adapting and learning all about how to debug to fix problems and improve our designs.
